Experience striking and unconventional coloured pencil art!

We invite you to the opening of Positions on Saturday, October 5, at 16:00.

“Fabelhaft!” that's what visitors regularly exclaimed at our booth during the POSITIONS art fair held mid-September at Tempelhof in Berlin. Indeed, we successfully brought together three quite distinct artists: J. de Konink, Daan Rietbergen, and Iver Uhre Dahl. Following two successful participations in Paper Positions Berlin, this year we made the leap to the larger Positions Berlin Art Fair, showing oil paintings and sculptures alongside works on paper.

Although we didn't sell out the booth, audience reactions were overwhelmingly positive. Visitors were initially attracted by one particular artist's work but soon experienced the booth as a unified Gesamtkunstwerk. We are now bringing this experience, somewhat modified, of course, to our gallery in Utrecht.

In our previous newsletter, we already introduced the three artists, so to avoid unnecessary repetition, this link will suffice as an introduction to Daan Rietbergen, Iver Uhre Dahl, and J. de Konink.

Last weekend and finissage of: COLOURED PENCIL!

The varied, engaging, and clear edition of Works on Paper IV with the theme Coloured Pencil is not as gentle as the title might suggest. There are many striking and unusual depictions on display, making it an exhibition that you don’t just get through in one go. This is thanks to the strong works by Sarah Yu Zeebroek (BE), Suzanne Plomp, Maeve van Klaveren, Paul de Reus, Robin Speijer, Paul Klemann, Joline Kwakkenbos, Patricia Paludanus, Peter Miedema, Ninet Kaiser, and Alexandra Duprez (FR). Additionally, we have beautiful leporellos and books by Margriet Oomen. On Sunday from around 16:00, there will be a finissage, with several of the artists present.

Visit the Gallery — We’re open every Friday to Sunday, or by appointment if you prefer a quieter viewing. Located in the heart of Utrecht, our space is intimate, flexible, and built to adapt to each artist’s vision. Come in, slow down, and get close to the work.
