Evening lecture Ronny Delrue -The Unguarded Moment
Ronny Delrue walks through key works from his oeuvre.

Tuesday, September 12 at 8:00 PM
Belgian artist Ronny Delrue, one of the five featured in The Drawn Human, is represented in many museums across his home country. He paints and draws, but also creates conceptual art, sculptures, and installations.
He seeks not only breadth but depth. So much so that twelve years ago he earned a PhD with his dissertation The Unguarded Moment: Controlled Uncontrolledness in Drawing. For this, Delrue interviewed major Belgian artists like Roger Raveel, Luc Tuymans, and four others, to explore the role of the unconscious in artistic decision-making—what happens instinctively, and what is done with full intention.
On Tuesday evening, September 12 at 8:00 PM, Delrue will give a talk at Moving Gallery, using his own work to explore the ideas behind this title.
You’re warmly invited to this exclusive event.
