You're invited to the opening of The Book of Ruth on Saturday, October 21 at 4:30 PM.

Ruthi Helbitz Cohen presents a new series of large works on paper and textile, along with drawings inspired by the Book of Ruth from the Old Testament—a text where women speak with clarity and themes of solidarity between peoples take center stage. Subjects that resonate deeply in today’s complex world. This exhibition runs in parallel with Helbitz Cohen’s current show at Museum De Fundatie in Zwolle.

During the opening, Marlise van der Jagt, artistic director of Dat Bolwerck in Zutphen, will give a brief introduction to Helbitz Cohen’s work. Her art will also be shown at Dat Bolwerck starting January 2024.

The exhibition runs through Sunday, November 12, and is open Friday through Sunday, from 12:00 to 5:30 PM.
