Twelve artists ·with one tool and endless possibilities

Our season opener at the end of summer will be full of color. You're invited to Works on Paper IV: Kleurpotlood on Saturday, August 31 at 4:00 PM.

This exhibition highlights the surprising beauty and expressive power of a tool that feels ordinary yet has such distinct character. Artists still love it for its immediacy, its intensity and the fact that it’s always within reach.

Art historian and author Paul van den Akker, emeritus professor at the Open University, will open the exhibition with a reflection on the art of drawing (4:00 PM).

Featuring works by: Sarah Yu Zeebroek, Robin Speijer, Paul de Reus, Suzanne Plomp, Patricia Paludanus, Margriet Oomen, Peter Miedema, Joline Kwakkenbos, Paul Klemann, Maeve van Klaveren, Ninet Kaijser, and Alexandra Duprez.
