Jouk Oosterhof is one of the regular photographers for Volkskrant Magazine, a publication that does not shy away from generously embracing art in the photographs accompanying its portrait interviews. Oosterhof, who has a background in fashion photography, makes full use of this opportunity and consistently creates intriguing, slightly surreal images of her subjects. This month, her new book, “Beste eigenaar van dit huis ...” (“Dear Owner of This House ...”), was recognised as one of the best photo books of the year. Her photographs are truly remarkable.
