Lenneke van der Goot
NL
Lenneke van der Goot creates expressive work that moves fluidly between abstraction and figuration. And when it is figurative, it's rendered with abstract forms, and when her work is abstract, it's done in a figurative way. For Van der Goot, a turning point in her development is not uncommon. Ratherthan waiting for change, Van der Goot actively seeks it out, continually challenging herself to explore new techniques, materials and scales. From intimate works on paper to large-scale murals, no challenge is too ambitious. She tackles everything from 'small and delicate' to large murals. The challenge can never be too big. Her turning point of 2026 lies in the layering of materials, such as drawings on paper combined with lithographic material, arranged stage-style in a viewing box. But her next turning point is already announcing itself.
