An artist's career unfolds in phases. Striving for continuous renewal is essential in order to tap into the potential that lies within. This development can be a steady path, but it can also occur through more or less radical style innovations. When an artist moves within a short period of time toward art that looks markedly different, there is a “turning point” (Kanteling in Dutch). In this exhibition, Daan Rietbergen, Zaida Oenema and Lenneke van der Goot present work with which they embark on a new path. Only later will we know whether these were intermediate steps or truly new style periods.
