Salomé Roodenburg was the artist with whom the Moving Gallery got off the ground in November 2018, not knowing that things would become quite so serious. She was our very first artist, what creates an almost unbreakable bond. Since then, Salomé has exhibited at the Moving Gallery several times. Her scenes are poetic and enigmatic. Her figures are not conventionally beautiful or pleasing to the eye, but they are physical, good-natured and benevolent. They are not of here and now, but neither are they of then or there. In addition to drawing and painting, Salomé designs sets and performances and writes librettos for contemporary classical music performances.
