Duo exhibition with Utrecht artists: Anne Schillings and Anna Reerds.

Anne Schillings studied illustration at the HKU but quickly switched from that discipline to free painting, and then also on a large format. She prefers to paint landscapes in which people are very small. They are colorful tombolas in a contemporary post-impressionist style.

Anna Reerds also studied at the HKU, but then the design course. She uses self-made decors of urban elements that evoke the atmosphere of the reconstruction period in the Netherlands. She makes completely new images of this in photo and video. A wonderful mixture of familiarity and alienation.
