In turbulent times, it is refreshing to present art with real staying power—art that truly holds its ground. Jenetta de Konink is a passionate painter who transforms deeply personal experiences into canvases rich with paint, featuring images whose significance does not easily reveal itself—and perhaps that is exactly as it should be.

Cecilia Rebergen prefers to work with rugged materials such as iron, wood, fabric and wool, alternating between sculptor, painter, and typographer. Her work is monumental, inviting each viewer to find their own meaning.

Joanna van Dorp, cultural all-rounder and former director of Buitenplaats Doornburgh in Maarssen, officially opened the exhibition.

'Door Roeien en Ruiten' runs until Sunday, September 28, and can be visited on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 to 17:30.
